My doll's head with implanted hair is losing hair on a daily basis — two or three hairs fall out every time I touch the head. What should I do?

Small amount of daily hair shedding (1–5 strands) is normal for dolls with implanted hair, especially during the first few months or with regular handling. The implanted hairs are individually hand-rooted into the silicone/TPE scalp for realism, but they are not 100% permanent like natural scalp hair.

How to Minimize Shedding:

1. Brush gently and correctly

· Always hold the hair midway and brush from the ends upward toward the scalp.

· Never brush directly from the roots downward or pull hard on tangles.

· Use a wide-tooth comb or soft-bristle brush designed for delicate hair.

2. Reduce direct touching of the scalp

· Minimize running your fingers through the roots or rubbing the top of the head. Excessive manipulation loosens the implanted hairs over time.

3. Proper washing and care

· Wash the hair no more than once every 4–6 weeks.

· Use mild shampoo + conditioner, gently massage, and rinse thoroughly.

· Pat dry with a towel — do not rub vigorously. Air dry naturally.

· Avoid heat tools (straighteners, dryers on high heat) unless the hair is heat-resistant.

4. Styling tips

· Tie hair loosely or use a silk scarf/ bonnet when storing or moving the doll.

· Apply a small amount of leave-in conditioner or hair oil (lightly on the lengths, not the roots) to reduce friction.
